Well, during my vacation, I decided to try dream interpretation. It all started when I was just chilling at home, feeling all relaxed from the break. I thought, “Hey, why not figure out what my dreams are trying to tell me?”
First, I got a small notebook. I mean, you gotta write stuff down, right? Every morning when I woke up, I’d lie in bed for a bit, trying to catch every little detail of the dream. I’d close my eyes and replay it in my head, then quickly scribble down whatever I could remember. Like, one time I dreamt I was running through a forest full of colorful flowers. I wrote down how bright the colors were and how fast I was running.
Then, I started looking for some basic info on dream interpretation. I didn’t go for those super fancy books. I just searched on my phone and found some easy – to – understand websites. They said that forests in dreams could mean exploring your inner self, and running could show you’re trying to reach a goal in real life. That made me think, “Hmm, am I really trying to find something about myself?”

Next, I tried to connect my dreams with my real – life situations. For example, I was kind of stressed about a project at work before the vacation. And in one dream, I was in a maze and couldn’t find my way out. According to what I read, mazes in dreams can represent being confused or stuck. It made sense because I was really not sure how to start that project.
But here’s the thing, dream interpretation isn’t an exact science. Sometimes, a dream could mean different things to different people. One day I dreamt I was eating ice cream, and some websites said it could mean pleasure or reward. But for me, it might just be because I saw an ice – cream truck the day before! So, I also had to use my own common sense.
As I kept doing this every day during my vacation, I started to notice some patterns. Some themes kept coming back in my dreams, like being in open spaces or being with old friends. I realized that these might be related to my deep – seated feelings and desires, like wanting more freedom or missing my old buddies.
In the end, interpreting my dreams during the vacation was a fun and eye – opening experience. It made me think more about myself and my life. Even though it’s not always accurate, it’s a cool way to peek into your subconscious. And who knows, maybe it’ll help you figure out some things you’ve been ignoring in your daily life!
