So, I’ve been having these dreams of being attacked. It all started a few weeks ago. One night, I went to bed like usual, ya know, just flopped down on the bed after a long day.
I don’t know what triggered it, but as soon as I fell asleep, I was in this crazy dream. I was walking down a dark alley, and I could feel someone behind me. My heart started pounding, and I tried to walk faster. But then, out of nowhere, this figure lunged at me. I started fighting back, punching and kicking like a madman. It was so intense that I woke up in a cold sweat.
I thought it was just a one – off, but it kept happening. Every few days, I’d have another dream of being attacked. Sometimes it was in different places, like a forest or a crowded street. And the attackers were always different too, some were big and scary, others were just shadowy figures.
I got really curious about what these dreams meant. So, I did what any normal person would do, I started looking into it. I read a bunch of articles online. Some experts said that dreams of being attacked could be a sign of stress. Like, maybe I was feeling pressured at work or something. Others said it could be related to my subconscious fears.
I thought about it, and yeah, I had been feeling a bit stressed lately. There was this project at work that was giving me a hard time. So, I decided to take some steps to reduce my stress. I started going for a walk every evening, just to clear my head. I also cut down on my coffee intake because I realized I was drinking way too much of it.
After a few weeks of doing these things, the dreams started to fade away. I still have the occasional nightmare, but the dreams of being attacked have become really rare. I guess those experts were right. Taking care of my stress levels really made a difference.
