Hey, guys! I’ve always been curious about dream interpretation, especially the so – called “abc dream interpretation”. So I decided to find out if it’s reliable. Here’s my whole journey.
First, I started by gathering a bunch of dream interpretation materials. I dug through old books in my local library, scanned the internet, and even asked some friends who are into dreams. I collected a lot of different interpretations for common dream symbols in the “abc” style.
Then, I began to record my own dreams. Every morning when I woke up, I’d rush to my notebook and write down as many details as I could remember. I tried to be as accurate as possible, because I knew that even a small detail might matter in dream interpretation.

After that, I took my dream records and matched them with the “abc” dream interpretation materials. For example, if I dreamt about a snake, I’d look up what “snake” meant in the “abc” list. Sometimes, the interpretations seemed to make sense, but other times, they were just way off.
I continued this process for about a month. I analyzed at least 20 dreams. I noticed that in some cases, the interpretations did seem to reflect my current emotions or situations. For instance, when I was stressed at work, I dreamt about being chased, and the “abc” interpretation said it could mean I was avoiding a problem. That kind of made sense.
But then, there were also many times when the interpretations were completely wrong. I dreamt about flying, and according to the “abc” list, it meant I was confident. However, at that time, I was actually feeling really insecure. So, I started to doubt the reliability of these interpretations.
To double – check, I talked to a few psychologists. They told me that dream interpretation is highly subjective and there’s no one – size – fits – all method. The “abc” style of dream interpretation is too simplistic. Dreams are complex, influenced by our daily experiences, subconscious thoughts, and even random brain activity.
After all these steps, I concluded that the “abc” dream interpretation is not very reliable. It might give you some ideas, but it can’t accurately explain the real meaning of your dreams. It’s like trying to solve a jigsaw puzzle with only a few pieces. You might get a rough picture, but it’s far from complete.
So, if you’re into dream interpretation, don’t rely too much on these “abc” lists. Instead, think about your own life and feelings when you analyze your dreams. That’s my take on this whole thing, and I hope it helps you understand dream interpretation a bit better!
