Honestly this whole thing started because I woke up sweating like crazy this morning after dreaming about this stupid huge beach again. Waves crashing, sand everywhere – felt super weird, you know? Happened three nights this week already! Had to figure it out.
The “research” begins (if you can call it that)
After gulping down some cold coffee, I just grabbed that worn-out dream journal from my cluttered shelf. Seriously, half the pages are coffee-stained from last Tuesday. Started scribbling everything I remembered – warm sand under my feet, kinda peaceful feeling but also alone, salty air smell.
The messy book digging
Flipped open Grandma’s old dream book next – pages yellow and smelling faintly like mothballs. Thumbed through that thing forever, sticky notes falling out everywhere. Here’s the stupid simple stuff it said about beaches:

Stared at my sweaty journal pages stuck together. That peaceful-yet-alone feeling? Probably fits the “calm but disconnected” thing. Work’s been insane lately – barely seen my friends. Felt like the dream decoder who missed the actual memo. Slapped the stupid book shut, left it on the counter beside an empty coffee mug.
Still don’t know why my dumb brain picked a beach specifically. Maybe just needed some fake sunshine. Or maybe I should actually book a vacation. Yeah…probably not happening soon.
